A native Rhode Islander, Linda was born and raised on the South Coast in Narragansett. After graduating from Narragansett High School in 1999, she went on to CCRI to continue her education.
Linda began working for Wyndham while it was still Equivest in 2002 as a Guest Service Associate at Long Wharf Resort. Linda held her position until 2004 when she was promoted to Guest Service Manager for all four of our Newport properties. In May 2006 Linda “crossed the bridge” and took the G.S.M. position at the Bay Voyage Inn and Newport Overlook. Linda was promoted to her current position in July of 2007. Linda can always be found helping out somewhere or talking with our guests. Linda Souther was named Resort Manager of the Wyndham Bay Voyage Inn and Newport Overlook in January 2011.
Linda is consistently seeking ways to improve the Wyndham properties in Jamestown, RI and knows the locations like the back of her hand. Constant hard work and sincere customer service have lauched Linda to the post of Resort Manager.
In her spare time she enjoys relaxing at home with her son, Ryan. Linda is active in Wyndham Charity Tournaments and proudly trains her staff to uphold Wyndham's "Count on Me" in and out of the Inn.
